Assistant AG Jeff Mateer of Austin, TX; bigoted homophobe

The state of Texas unfortunately presented Jeff Mateer with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Southern Methodist University (SMU) Law School.

In September 2017, Donald “Trumporleone” Trump was duped into nominating Jeff to serve on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Jeff wasn’t nominated because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Tyler/Beaumont area. He received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the right-wing pollical hacks.

Jeff is now employed as the First Assistant Attorney General of Texas. Prior to that, Jeff was general counsel and executive vice president of the First Liberty Institute, a right-wing organization dedicated to supporting an assortment of misogynistic bigots, homophobes, religious zealots and lunatics.

Wouldn’t want the Eastern District Court of Texas to turn into some Deep Liberal Swamp

Some of Jeff’s bigoted statements are as follows:

• Described transgender children as evidence of “Satan’s plan”
• Saddened that states were banning gay conversion therapy
• Argued that same-sex marriage would lead to polygamy and bestiality
• Supreme Court ruling allowing same-sex marriage could lead to “disgusting” new forms of marriage (Yeah, like the marriage of a Homophobic Bigot and a Moron)

During a 2015 speech, titled “The Church and Homosexuality,” Jeff the Bigot said:

• “Why couldn't four 4 people wanna get married? (yeah Jeff, like a bigot, a homophobe, a neo-Nazi  and a White Supremacist)
• “Why not one man and three women? Or three women and one man?”
• "I mean, it's disgusting.”
• “I've learned words I didn't know.”
• “I mean, other than...my assistants here, have you ever heard the word 'throuple'? 'Throuple' so that's three-people coming together of different sexes, maybe mixed sexes.

One thing is painfully clear and that is that Jeff is a dyed-in-the-wool Bigoted Misogynist who has no business sitting in judgment of anyone regardless of that person’s gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation or religious beliefs.

To be fair to Jeff in the event Sen. McConnell and his comrades vote to confirm this Loser, then he should be allowed to preside over cases involving folks that are left-handed since he hasn’t yet stated he’s prejudiced against this class of Americans.

And lastly one must seriously wonder why Jeff expends so much energy spewing forth hatred towards members of the gay community. Maybe we need to ask Jeff the following:

“What’s in your closet, Jeff?”

If this Certified Bigot is confirmed by the U.S. Senate, then Jeff will be required to recuse (remove) himself from any case that involves any minority and/or member of the LGBTQ family. However, to be fair to Jeff, he should be allowed to preside over cases involving folks that are left-handed since he hasn’t yet stated he’s prejudiced against this class of Americans.

And lastly, if Jeff’s qualified to become a U.S. District Court judge, then Donald Trump’s qualified to be president, right? Oops, my bad!

As we speak (ca. October 2017) Jeff the Bigot continues to be employed as the First Assistant Attorney General of Texas.
