Attorney Karl Hinkebein of Columbia, MO; ethical gremlin

The state of Missouri unfortunately presented Karl William Hinkebein with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Southern Methodist University (SMU) Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Karl guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as a Missouri Public Defender in representing indigent defendants.

• Poorly represented numerous clients
• Failed to communicate with at least 6 clients
• Failed to provide minimal representation to various clients

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Karl by the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Missouri Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. December 2017), Karl continues to practice in Columbia, Missouri.
