Attorney Mark Lindquist of Tacoma, WA; ethical elf

The state of Washington presented Mark Evans Lindquist with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Gonzaga University Law School.

The Washington State Bar found Mark guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place during his tenure as Pierce County Prosecutor.

In one matter, Mark decided to appear on the Nancy Grace legal talk show in early 2016 during the climax of a widely watched murder trial. During his appearance, Mark speculated about the motives of murder defendant Skylar Nemetz wherein his said among other things that his actions “add up to murder.” (Sean Robinson)

The State Bar specifically found Mark guilty of the following:

  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Made prohibited statements about criminal defendants

The State Bar opined that “the presumptive sanction appears to be suspension.”

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Mark by the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington State Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. November 2017), Mark continues to be employed as the Pierce County Prosecutor in Tacoma, Washington.
