Trump’s rendition of “First they came for me”

In a moment of normal lucidity, I’m sorry I mean normal lunacy Donald “Trumporleone” Trump decided to mimic the statements of Martin Neimoller who was a former Lutheran minister that spoke about the Nazi regime by saying “First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out because I was not a Socialist,” which he continued on with other comments.

After having Niemoller’s statements read to him, The Don decided to spew forth his own version of Niemoller’s statements by saying:

• “First, they came for the Honest Businessmen, and did not speak out because I was not an Honest Businessman.”
• “Then they came after the Truthtellers, and I did not speak out because I never tell the truth.”
• “Then they came after the Pussy Grabbers, and I didn’t speak out because I was one.”
• “Then they came after the Jews, and I didn’t speak out because I ain’t a Jew.”
• “And then they came for me, and there weren’t any lying bigots left to speak for me.”

I’m kind of hoping for the day when I can see them coming for The Don and he is forced to do the Perp Walk. That damn sure will make my day!
