Trump hires truck driver at USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service
During and after the presidential campaign, Donald “Trumporleone” Trump repeatedly said he was going to “drain the swam” of an assortment of what he considered government losers. He also said he would stack his administration with the “brightest” and “most qualified” persons available.
In keeping good on his hiring promises, The Don recently (late September 2017) announced that he was appointing truck driver, Nick Brusky to work at the United States Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Service Department. This agency is tasked with developing overseas markets for U.S. agricultural trade goods. The position is one of the highest levels on the government’s pay scale, a GS-12, paying $79,720 annually plus benefits.
The GS-12 pay grade requires a master’s degree or equivalent experience. Mr. Busky’s so-called resume does not disclose that he is a college graduate. His resume states he took courses in business management and political science at three (3) universities from 2000 to 2013, but never graduate with any degree.
During the campaign, Brusky worked as a field representative for The Don in Ohio while driving for a trucking company in Hillard. Brusky’s resume shows that he has zero experience in cultivating international markets for trade goods, though he notes he has experience “hauling and shipping agricultural commodities.”
In other words, Brusky’s international trade experience is limited to delivering loads of rice, potatoes, corn and other farm products throughout the country.
To suggest that Nick the Trucker is qualified for this job is akin to stating that Donald Trump is eminently qualified to be President of the U.S. A.
