Attorney Bruce Keary of Mission Hill, MA; ethical ogre

The state of Massachusetts presented Bruce V. Keary with a law license in 1974 after he graduated Northeastern University Law School.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Bruce guilty of the following misconduct.

• Commingled client funds with office trust funds
• Failed to respond to ethics complaint (Up yours, said Bruce!)
• Used trust account to pay personal expenses
• Improperly made withdrawals from trust account by using ATM card
• Failed to maintain individual client ledgers
• Failed to reconcile client trust account
• Failed to maintain proper account records
• Failed to appear at disciplinary hearing (Screw you, said Bruce!)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

Bar Overseers Laughable Mitigation Credit for Bruce

In a lame effort at levity, the comedians sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers gave credit in mitigation to Stephen as follows.

• Suffered from depression during time of misconduct

I see, the only reason that Bruce violated his responsibilities regarding his handling of client funds was due to his claimed depression. Only Certified Morons (my sincerest apologies to Morons) and enablers for Attorney Misfits would make such a laughable claim.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Bruce by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

As we speak (ca. October 2017) Bruce practices at 210 Fisher Avenue in Mission Hill, Massachusetts.
