Attorney Peter Dressler of Wheaton, IL; convicted of forgery

The state of Illinois presented Peter Penn Dressler with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from DePaul University Law School.

The Disciplinary Commission found Pete guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Convicted of forging W2 form for secretary to bolster her credit rating
  • Used secretary’s identity and improved credit rating to purchase a residence in which Pete and his fiancée would reside

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Pete by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (December 2017), Pete practices at 424 East Illinois Street in Wheaton, Illinois.

CAUTION: Pete does not carry legal malpractice insurance
