Attorney Linda Groezinger of Peoria, IL; lying fraudster

The state of Illinois presented Linda Sue Groezinger with a law license in 1999 after she graduated from Northern Illinois University Law School.

The Disciplinary Commission found Linda guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, after Linda learned that she faced a malpractice action because of a statute of limitations problem in a personal injury case in which she was co-counsel, she falsely denied to the opposing counsel, and in discovery answers, that she had represented the plaintiff. Linda then manufactured a retainer agreement to support her false denial.

In addition, Linda failed to be candid with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Linda!).

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Linda by gifting her with a complimentary 1-year suspension of her law license. 

As we speak (August 2018), Linda practices at 411 Hamilton Blvd in Peoria, Illinois.
