Attorney Philip Nathe of Naperville, IL; repeat offender

 

The state of Illinois presented Philip Robert Nathe with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from the John Marshall Law School.

 

The Disciplinary Commission found Phil guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Phil’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

In one matter, Phil represented a closely held corporation owned by a husband and wife in 

collection matters. While representing the corporation, Phil entered into a sexual relationship with the wife

 

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Phil by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Phil’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

In one matter, Phil knowingly engaged in a conflict of interest when he represented a criminal defendant in a battery case after he had established an attorney-client relationship with the victim of the crime, who had consulted with him about the battery.

 

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Phil by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

 

As we speak (December 2017), Phil practices with The Law Office of Philip R. Nathe at 552 South Washington Street in Naperville, Illinois.
