Attorney Patience Nelson of River Forest, IL; ethical gremlin

The state of Illinois presented Patience Robinson Nelson with a law license in 1998 after she graduated from Loyola University Law School.

The Disciplinary Commission found Patience guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, while she was employed as an attorney for the Chicago Transit Authority, Patience removed confidential personnel documents from her employer’s office without consent and attempted to use them for her own benefit in litigation against the Chicago Transit Authority.

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Patience by gifting her with a complimentary 3-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (September 2017), Patience practices with The Law Office of Patience Nelson at 822 Jackson Avenue in River Forest, Illinois.
