Judge Maria Felix of Tucson, AZ; ethical leprechaun

The state of Arizona presented Maria Lilia Felix with a law license in 1996 after she graduated from the University of Arizona Law School.

The Arizona Commission on Judicial Conduct found Maria guilty of the following misconduct.

• Improperly coordinated judicial campaign with another candidate
• Improperly endorsed another candidate for public office
• Failed to act in manner to promote public confidence in the judiciary
• Abused prestige of judicial office for personal gain
• Improper personal distribution of candidate petitions for office of constable

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Maria by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2017), Maria continues to sit as a Pima County Justice of the Peace in Tucson, Arizona.
