Attorney Derek Tyler of Ft. Myers, FL; convicted druggie

The state of Florida provided Derek Michael Tyler with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from the University of Miami Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Derek guilty of the following misconduct.

• Charged with one count of possession of controlled substance, third-degree felony
• Adjudicated guilty and sentenced after pleading no contest

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Derek by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2017), Derek practices with Derek M. Tyler PA at 9160 Forum Corporate Parkway in Fort Myers, Florida.
