Attorney Michael Valen of Tampa; convicted druggie

The state of Florida provided Michael James Valen with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from the University of Florida Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

• Pled no contest (guilty in effect) to conspiracy to commit a felony
• Possession of a controlled substance w/intent to sell/manufacture
• Placed on probation for two years

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2017), Mike practices with Dennis Hernandez and Associates at 3339 West Kennedy Blvd in Tampa, Florida.
