Mitt Romney: Today’s “Rodney Dangerfield” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

Mitt Romney
Today’s Rodney Dangerfield” Award Winner

Mitt continues to try and cement his status as one of America’s most unaccomplished standup comedians.

While trolling for votes at the Iowa State Fair on Aug 11, 2011, Mitt mockingly explained that one way to fulfill promises on entitlement programs [Social Security/Medicare] is to “raise taxes on people.” Before Rodney could finish, he was interrupted.

“Corporations!” a protestor shouted in urging the Comic to raise taxes on corporations that have benefited from loopholes in the tax code.

Rodney responded by saying “Corporations are people, my friend.” Some of those in attendance shouted, “No, they’re not,” which caused the aspiring comic to say, “Of course they are.”

Anyone with an IQ higher than the legal speed limit in a school zone knows that Rodney’s statements don’t pass the involuntary laugh test.

What’s next on the Comic’s plate? Will Rodney tell us that the folks named/pictured  below are all not only real, but that they are all pesonal friends?
  • Long-time personal hair-dresser Sponge Bob Square Pants
  • Personally hired Bob the Builder to work on his summer home in New Hampshire
  • Barney of Barney & Friends is one of his senior campaign advisors
  • Last but not least, Goofy was/is Rodney’s personal physicial fitness trainer

With his personal connections to Goofy, I’ sure Rodney will do well in the Florida primary election. In fact, at least 85% of the voters in Orlando would be expected to vote for Rodney.

Congrats Mitt; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as an accomplished standup comedian; you are far too humble.
