Attorney James Ogle of Oklahoma City; attempt to bribe cop

The state of Oklahoma presented James David Ogle with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from the University of Tulsa Law School.

The Oklahoma Bar Association found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Offered bribe to police officer to not appear at client’s driver’s license revocation hearing regarding client’s arrest for driving under the influence (DUI)
  • The officer reported the bribe offer to his superiors
  • Bobby arrested and charged with felony offense of offering a bribe
  • Subsequently pled guilty to obstruction of a public officer, a misdemeanor
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oklahoma Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (October 2017), Jimmy practices at 9905 South Pennsylvania Avenue in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
