Attorney Melanie Emery of Myrtle Beach; deceitful Dumbo

The State of South Carolina presented Melanie Anne Emery with a law license in 2012 after she graduated from the University of Akron Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Melanie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
• Revealed information relating to client representation w/o client consent
• Engaged in illegal practice of law in another state
• Made false, misleading or deceptive communications about her services
• Falsely claimed to be a certified specialist

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme punished Melanie by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2017) Melanie practices with Emery Law at 1705 North Oak Street in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
