Attorney Barry Rorex of Tucson; slacker, repeat offender

The state of Arizona presented Barry W. Rorex with a law license in 2008 after he graduated from the University of Florida Law School. Barry also received a law license from the state of Florida in 1996.

The Arizona State Bar found Barry guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Barry!)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to provide client with requested updates
  • Failed to provide client with copy of lawsuit filed on client’s behalf
  • Failed to respond to client emails
  • Client’s case dismissed due to Barry’s negligence
  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Failed to terminate representation when required to so act

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Barry’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Barry by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2017) Barry practices with The Law Office of Barry W. Rorex PLC at 177 North Church Avenue in Tucson, Arizona.
