Judge John Grant III of Brandon, MS; ethical gremlin

The state of Mississippi presented John S. Grant III with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from the University of Mississippi Law School.

In one matter, it has been alleged that Johnny in a biased manner when he ordered a father to pay back due child support payments even though the child in question was removed from the mother’s care by order of the Rankin County Juvenile Court.

It is further alleged that Johnny refused to give the father any credit for expenses or financial consideration as it related to the child in question.

And lastly, it is alleged that Johnny ordered the father to continue paying half of his ex-wife’s house payments even after Johnny learned that the ex-wife was cohabitating with another man.

These allegations standing alone raises serious questions as to whether any man can expect to be treated fairly when appearing in Johnny’s so-call court of justice.

As we speak (ca. July 2017), Johnny continues to sit as a judge for the 20th Chancery District of Mississippi in Brandon, Mississippi.
