Attorney Charles Carpenter of Maryville, TN; slacker, loser

The state of Tennessee provided Charles Alphonso Carpenter with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Art guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to appear at depositions on behalf of client
• Failed to communicate with client
• Engaged in a pattern of neglect
• Failed to appear for scheduled court hearings
• Failed to notify client of address change

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Charlie’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received three (3) complimentary censures for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Art by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. August 2016) Charlie practices at 525 West Lamar Alexander Parkway in Maryville, Tennessee.
