Attorney Arthur Brisker of Rockville, MD; ethical leprechaun

The state of Maryland presented Arthur B. Brisker with a law license in 1970 after he graduated from the University of Baltimore Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Art guilty of the following misconduct.

• Drafted client’s will and named himself as a beneficiary
• Art’s bequest was to be given to the client’s nephew to dissuade the client’s estranged wife from asserting a claim against the estate

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Art by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
