Attorney Katie Douglas of White Hall, MD; ethical dwarf

The state of Maryland presented Katie Lee Douglas with a law license in 2000 after she graduated from the University of Maryland Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Katie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to adequately communicate with client
• Failed to ensure she had in effect measures giving reasonable assurance that the conduct of non-lawyer assistants was compatible with her professional

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Katie by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
