Today’s “Fleece-Flocker” Award Winner is: Rev. Max Lucado of San Antonio
Rev. Max Lucado was born on New Year’s Day in 1955. Subsequently he attended Abilene Christian University and initially set out to become a lawyer. However, after taking a bible course and a mission trip, he changed his mind and decided to become a member of the second most honest profession in the U.S. of A.
Rev. Max appears to be a charter member of the Fleece-Flockers Association of America (FFAA). As you’ll see below, Rev. Max is a prolific writer who finds it acceptable to fleece-the-flock by charging exorbitant and outrageous prices for books he has authored. I don’t know about y’all, but I don’t think a real Christian would bill someone $12.00 for something they could purchase for $0.75, right?
It must be noted that Rev. Lucado is an equal opportunity Fleece-Flocker in that he also delights in fleecing Latinos in the greater San Antonio area and elsewhere.
It should be noted that Rev. Lucado is a sponsor of an upcoming prayer fest in San Antonio being hosted by Gov. Rick Perry. One would think that Gov. Perry would likely find Rev. Lucado’s conduct quite disturbing.
