Solar Energy not reliable or consistent sez Rick Santorum

After donning a pair of Trumpian ™ Industrial Strength Knee Pads and after duly genuflecting in The Don’s honor, former Senator and losing presidential candidate Rick Santorum appeared on CNN’s on CNN’s New Day program along with host Alisyn Camerota and former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm.

In a lame attempt at retaining his status as a Trump Toady and Apologist, Ricky said:

“If he [The Don] wants to get on message then he needs to pull out of the Paris Climate Accord or maybe even a halfway measure.”

Ricky’s sappy comment led to the following back and forth between Gov. Granholm and Ricky.

GRANHOLM:

• “No, no, no!”
• “There are 3.3 million people in America that are working in the clean energy industry.”
• “If you look at my state [Michigan], there are almost 90,000 jobs in clean energy right now.”

RICKY:

• “We have a fracking revolution and it’s driving down the cost of our electricity.”

GRANHOLM:

• “Solar and wind are cheaper than coal."
• "Right now, China is cancelling 107 of its coal plants because why?”
• “Solar and wind are cheaper than coal.”
• “Same in India."

RICKY:

• “It’s no reliable, it’s not consistent.”

GRANHOLM:

• “Oh my god!”

And to think that Ricky thinks he’s qualified to be the President of the U.S. of A. Thank God that Romney creamed him in the 2012 GOP presidential primaries.

The only thing that is consistent, are the huge kisses that Ricky continues to plant on The Don’s substantial derriere. Hopefully, The Don has reimbursed Ricky for the cost he incurred in purchasing a tube of Industrial Strength ChapStick.”
