Attorney Deborah Bennett of Merced, CA; lying loser

The state of California provided Deborah Ann Bennett with a law license in 1990 after she graduated from the University of West Virginia Law School.

The California State Bar found Debbie guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Debbie pled no contest (guilty in effect) to one count of delaying a police officer in the discharge of a duty, a misdemeanor.

Two who had been drinking were involved in an auto accident. One of the men spoke with Debbie and her husband and told them he was worried about getting a ticket for DUI and was considering leaving the scene. Debbie and her husband agreed to tell the police that they had bought two drinks for the man after the accident to calm his nerves.

Subsequently the bartender contradicted the false story put forth by Lying Debbie and her Lying husband. The driver later contacted the prosecutor and admitted that he lied.

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Debbie by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the California State Bar Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Debbie.

As we speak (ca. July 2017), Debbie practices with the Central Valley Youth Legal Services PC at 357 West Main Street in Merced, California.
