Attorney Frank Prohaska of Seattle; slacker, repeat offender

 

The state of Washington presented Frank J. Prohaska with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of Washington Law School.

 

The Washington State Bar found Frankie guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Frankie’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker) 
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Failed to decline/terminate representation when required to so act

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Frankie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

 

Frankie’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to pay $500 in disciplinary costs associated with prior reprimand

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Frankie by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

 

Frankie’s 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to preserve identify of client funds
  • Failed to maintain required trust account records
  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Pled guilty to 4th degree assault of 10-year-old son
  • Slammed son’s head into wall resulting in a concussion
  • Failed to maintain client funds in mandated client trust accounts
  • Failed to perform trust fund reconciliations

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Frankie by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. July 2017), Frankie practices at 1001 Fourth Avenue in Seattle, Washington.
