Attorney David McAuliff of Bellevue, WA; ethical gremlin

The state of Washington presented David J. McAuliff with a law license in 2008 after he graduated from the University of Washington Law School.

The Washington State Bar found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to maintain required trust account records
• Failed to perform client ledger reconciliations
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Risked client funds to attachment by depositing them into personal account
• Conduct caused actual harm to be visited upon client
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Dave!)
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2017), Dave practices with the McAuliff Law Firm at 14205 SE 36^th Street in Bellevue, Washington.
