Attorney Chris Montgomery of Colville, WA; ethical elf

The state of Washington presented Chris Alan Montgomery with a law license in 1982 after he graduated Gonzaga University Law School.

The Washington State Bar found Chris guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Communicated with person he knew was represented by counsel
• Failed in duties owed to former clients
• Refused to acknowledge wrongful nature of conduct
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Misconduct caused actual injury to client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2017), Chris practices at 287 East Astor Avenue in Colville, Washington.
