Attorney Matthew Croslis of Allentown, PA; ethical leprechaun

The state of Pennsylvania presented Matthew Todd Croslis with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from Temple University Law School.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Idaho Supreme Court punished Matty by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

  • Failed to file documents on behalf of numerous clients in bankruptcy cases
  • Failed to communicate with clients
  • Collected fees from clients both to negotiate mortgage modifications and file bankruptcy papers if necessary
  • Violated Federal Trade Commission Rules
  • Missed filing deadlines in bankruptcy matters
  • Failed to appear at scheduled bankruptcy hearings
  • Violated federal Bankruptcy Code by seeking court protection solely to stope foreclosures of sheriffs’ sales of his clients’ properties

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, Bankruptcy Court judge Richard E. Fehling sanctioned Matty to the tune of $1,600 and ordered him to return fees he received from several of his clients. Fehling also ordered that Matty detail the accounting of fees he charged, received and actually earned along with a detailed description of the services he claimed he provided.

As we speak (ca. June 2017), Matty practices with the Croslis Law Offices at 1275 Glenlivet Drive in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
