Judge Talmadge Littlejohn of Tupelo, MS; Il Duce Wannabee, Dufus, Loser

FYI: Il Duce is none other than Benito Mussolini, the late Italian dictator and ally of Adolph Hitler and a charter member of the original “Axis of Evil.”

Unfortunately the Mississippi Supreme Court presented Talmadge Littlejohn with a law license on May 27, 1960.

In October 2010, the Mississippi Judicial Commission filed an ethics complaint against Il Duce. Il Duce’s misconduct involved him finding attorney Danny Lampley in contempt of court and imprisoning him. And what criminal conduct was attorney Lampley guilty of you ask. He failed to stand up while Il Duce was reading the “Pledge of Allegiance.”

I would agree with the contempt finding and jailing if attorney Lampley failed to stand at attention while Judge Littlejohn was singing “Mirror, Mirror on the Wall. Who’s the most imbecilic judge of them all?” Likewise, if Littlejohn was singing “Mary had a little Lamb” and Lampley didn’t stand up.

Supreme Court Comedians Rulings v Littlejohn

In its laughable ruling finding that Littlejohn was a Judicial Misfit, the comedians sitting on the Mississippi Supreme Court said in part:
  1. “Immeasurable harm occurs when a judge who is trusted as t he gatekeeper to justice for all our citizens, fails to learn and apply fundamental tenets of the law”
  2. “Littlejohn’s actions also injured the integrity and independence of the judiciary”
The above comic comments were made after the comedians found Judge Littlejohn guilty of:
  1. Abusing his judicial office by forcing Lampley to endure 5-hours of unjustified incarceration
  2. Violating both Lampley’s right of free speech to remain silent during the pledge and the law of contempt when he incarcerated Lampley
Clearly, all nine (9) of the Surpeme Court Justices missed their collective calling as standup comedians.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Mississippi Surpeme Court punished Il Duce by gifting him with a reprimand. To be fair, they also fined him $100. Goshes and Gollies I bet that’ll teach this Judicial Misfit a lesson he won’t soon forget, right?

As we speak (ca. July 2011) Talmadge the Loser continues to sit on the bench in Tupelo. What a joke!
