Attorney Michael Balint of Hamilton Township, NJ; slacker, repeater

 

The state of New Jersey presented Michal P. Balint with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School. 

 

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Mike’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in gross neglect
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Mike!)
  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Failed to promptly pay funds owing to client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Mike’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Negligently misappropriated (stole) client funds
  • Failed to comply with recordkeeping requirements
  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Engaged in a pattern of neglect
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

As we speak (ca. June 2017) Mike practices in Hamilton Township, New Jersey.
