The Tri-County Hearing Panel found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to advise client of basis or rate of fees
• Failed to provide accounting of client funds upon request
• Failed to abide by client decisions re: settlement offer
• Failed to explain matter to extent necessary to permit client to make informed decisions regarding representation
• Failed to promptly notify client of receipt of client funds
• Failed to promptly pay funds owing to client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct and/or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand
