Attorney Jonathan Gerisch of Ann Arbor, MI; idiot, convicted drunk

The state of Michigan presented Jonathan P. Gerisch with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of Michigan Law School.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel found Jon guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Convicted of driving under the influence (DUI), second offense
  • Failed to provide competent representation (idiot)
  • Pursued a matter that was plainly frivolous
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct exposing profession to contempt (What’s new?)
  • Engaged in conduct contrary to justice, ethics, honesty or good morals

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Jon by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2016), Jon practices at 518 Pauline Blvd in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
