Attorney Dmitry Feofanov of Lyndon, IL; greedy scammer

The state of Illinois presented Dmitry N. Feofanov with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from the Chicago-Kent School of Law.

The Disciplinary Commission found Marlo guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Dmitry represented a client in a consumer fraud case and, after learning of his client's death, continued appearing in court on behalf of the client and making settlement demands to the defendants without revealing that his client had died.

Subsequently, the trial court judge imposed a $15,000 sanction against Dmitry for filing a sham arbitration motion after his client had died.

Because Attorney Misfits in Illinois are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Dmitry was never criminally charged with fraud.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Dmitry by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. September 2017), Dmitry practices with Chicago Lemon Law PC at 404 Fourth Avenue West in Lyndon, Illinois.

CAUTION: Dmitry is not covered by legal malpractice insurance
