Attorney Marc Schwartz of Southfield, MI; repeat offender

 

The state of Michigan presented Marc S. Schwartz with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.

 

The Tri-County Hearing Panel found Marc guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Marc’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Closed office without notifying clients
  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to withdraw when required to do so
  • Failed to file any documents in bankruptcy matter on client’s behalf
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Marc!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Reid by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year term of probation.

 

Marc’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  1. Improper handling of client funds
  2. Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Marc!)
  3. Improperly deposited personal funds into trust account

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Marc by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. May 2016), Marc practices at 19810 Silver Spring Road in Southfield, Michigan.
