Sen. John McCain: Today's "Srewball" Award Winner

Congratulations to….

Senator John McCain
Today’s ScrewballAward Winner

During an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union” on July 3, 2001, Senator McCain was asked to comment on the President Obama’s recent troop reduction plan for Afghanistan. Screwy John responded by stating Obama was taking an unnecessary risk in drawing down the number of U.S. troops in Afghanistan. John went on to say that none of the U.S. military commanders has recommended the drawdown.

Apparently Screwball Johnny isn’t aware that the President is the Commander-in-Chief (remember General Douglas MacArthur Johnnie?).

Johnny made the comments during yet another tour of Afghanistan which was of course funded with your hard earned tax dollars. Goshes and Gollies Johnnie, isn’t it a tad hypocritical of you to attack Obama as a spendthrift while you’re hosing the taxpayers in the tens-of-thousands for repeat visits to Afghanistan?

Johnnie doesn’t much give a damn if we spend over $120 billion of your had earned money every year into the unknown future in supporting the crooked Karzai regime and providing cover so to speak so drug lords can continue to harvest opium poppies and turn it into heroin.

I can assure you Johnnie that anyone with an I.Q. in excess of the legal speed limit in a school zone doesn’t much give a damn about what happens in Afghanistan. And that is especially true given the continuing cost in tax dollars and American lives.

Our stated goals in going to Afghanistan were to overthrow the Taliban and catch Bin Laden. Unless you haven’t noticed Johnny Baby, that’s been accomplished. And that cost us at least $1 trillion.

In Screwy Johnnies demented mind, it would be acceptable to spend a few more trillion dollars of your money along with several thousand more American deaths so that we can continue to engage in propping up a crooked government under the phony guise of national security.

Congrats Johnny; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as a certified screwball; you are far too humble.
