Attorney Jon Kaner of Prescott, MI; ethical gremlin

The state of Michigan presented Jon Coleman Kaner with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from Michigan State University Law School.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #79 found Jon guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct exposing legal profession in contempt
• Engaged in conduct contrary to justice, honesty and/or ethics

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Jon by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2016), Jon practices at 2373 Palmer Street in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
