Attorney Craig Aronoff of Royal Oak, MI; thieving slacker

The state of Michigan presented Craig A. Aronoff with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from Michigan State University Law School.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel found Craig guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to seek clients’ lawful objectives
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with clients
  • Failed to surrender client files upon termination
  • Failed to refund unearned fee after being terminated (thief)
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Franny!)
  • Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct and/or knowingly assisted or induced another to do

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Craig by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2016), Craig practices with the Cannabis Legal Group at 520 North Main Street in Royal Oak, Michigan, which is a suburb of Detroit.
