Today’s “Naiveté” Award Winner is Presidential Nominee Jon Huntsman

Congratulations to….

Jon Huntsman
Today’s NaivetéAward Winner

For y’all that ain’t too familiar with the term “Naiveté” it means, gullible, inexperienced, unsophisticated and in some circles, simple-minded.

During his June 22, 2011 announcement of his candidacy for the Republican nomination for President in 2012, Jon Huntsman proved beyond all doubt that he suffers from a severe case of Naiveté.

One need not qualify as a Wizard to understand and appreciate that presidential campaigns are a hybrid form of mud-slinging and name-calling. In addition, a candidate must not fear repeatedly changing his/her position (aka, flip-flopping) on any subject in order to garner a few votes.

A candidate that isn’t willing to repeatedly call Obama a no-good, dirty, lousy, slimy, Anti-Christ, and American hating commie-pinko ain’t likely to find any friends among Republican primary voters.

During his speech in front of the Statute of Liberty, Huntsman said:
  •  “We will conduct this campaign on the high road. I respect the president of the United States. He and I have a difference of opinion on how to help a country we both love.”
Obviously, Huntsman missed his calling as a standup comedian with those comments about Obama. If he didn’t suffer from a bad case of Naiveté, he would have said something like:
  •  “We will conduct this campaign in the gutter. I totally disrespect the president of the United States. Obama and I have a difference of opinion on how to help a country I love and one he obviously doesn’t.”
Huntsman should do himself and more importantly his family a favor and immediately drop out of the race. As for future employment opportunities, I hear tell that the Wal-Mart at 350 West Hope Avenue in Salt Lake City is taking application for greeters. And if that don’t pan out for ya Jon, you can always enroll at the Barbering and Cosmetology School at Salt Lake Community College.

With all due respect Jon, take my advice and get out now before you embarrass yourself even more than you did in New Jersey. Put simply, Jon just go ahead an pull the switch if ya know what I mean.

Congrats Jon; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as a neophyte who is lacking a pair; you are far too humble.
