Attorney Alexander DeSevo of Oakhurst, NJ; druggie, repeater

The state of New Jersey presented Alexander Ralph DeSevo with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Alex guilty of the following misconduct.

Alex’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Mishandled at least three personal injury matters
• Failed to file client complaint before statute of limitations tolled
• Gross negligence led to several client cases being dismissed with prejudice
• Named wrong defendant in one client lawsuit
• Engaged in a pattern of neglect
• Failed to communicate with clients
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Alex by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.  

Alex’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Arrested in Holmdel, New Jersey for possession of crack cocaine
• Keansburg police stopped Ralph for speeding, failure to stop at red light and failure to use turn signal
• Arrested for driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia
• Blood test proved positive for cocaine
• Ralph’s glass pipe tested positive for traces of cocaine

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Alex by gifting him with a complimentary censure.  

As we speak (ca. May 2017) Chris practices with Schwartz Simon Edelstein Celso & Kessler LLC at 44 Whippany Road in Morristown, New Jersey.
