Attorney John Dusinberre of Fairfield, NJ; slacker

The state of New Jersey presented John R. Dusinberre with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a pattern of neglect
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Engaged in gross neglect
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Lied to client he had filed a Public Offering Statement (POS) on client’s behalf
  • Fabricated POS and provided same to clients
  • Created fictitious registration number for POS
  • Misled client he had filed master deed
  • Failed to inform clients about important events
  • Failed to provide clients with information sufficient for them to make informed decisions about the representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
