► Judge Jessie LeBlanc of Napoleonville, LA; one of the good gals

The State of Louisiana presented Jessie McCrory LeBlanc with a law license in 1996 after she graduated the University of Louisiana Law School.

In one matter, Judge LeBlanc presided over a case wherein District Attorney Assistant St. James Parish District Attorney Bruce Mohon was prosecuting a case against St. James Parish director of operations Blaise Gravois who had been accused last fall along with the parish president of illegally directing public resources for work on private property.

In a rare display of courage, Judge LeBlanc tossed the criminal charges against Mr. due to prosecutorial misconduct cheerfully engaged in by Mr. Mohon. A more thorough explanation of the judge’s ruling as to Mohon’s misconduct can be found at the URL listed at the end of this article.

Kudos to Judge Jessie LeBlanc for having the courage and fortitude to out Mr. Mohon for his despicable conduct in attempting to wrongfully convict Mr. Gravois of criminal conduct.

As we speak (ca. May 2017), Judge LeBlanc continues to sit as a 23rd Judicial District Court judge in Napoleonville, Louisiana.
