Attorney John Kirby II of Raleigh, NC; ethical leprechaun

The state of North Carolina presented John McKinley Kirby II with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from Southern Methodist University Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in the illegal practice of law in states he wasn’t licensed in
  • Improperly split fees with non-attorneys
  • Purposefully acted in a dishonest and deceitful manner
  • Misconduct had potential to cause another attorney serious harm

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Johnny gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2017), (ca. May 2017) Johnny practices at 4516 Gwynnebrook Circle in Raleigh, North Carolina.
