Attorney Arthur Nasser of Chicago; convicted tax cheat

The state of Illinois presented Arthur N. Nasser with a law license in 1956 after he graduated from Georgetown University Law School.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Art guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Art was convicted in Federal District Court of Virginia of one count of obstruction of justice and one count of assisting in the preparation of a false income tax return. He was sentenced to imprisonment for one year and one day. Art subsequently served seven months and 15 days of the term of imprisonment, three months in a halfway house and was on supervised release for two years.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Art by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (January 2018), Art practices at 110 East Delaware Place in Chicago, Illinois.

CAUTION:  Art does not carry legal malpractice insurance
