Attorney D. Rahn Hostetter of Enterprise, OR; repeat offender, loser

Unfortunately D. Rahn Hostetter was presented with a law license by the Oregon Supreme Court in 1978.

In late 2010, the Oregon State Disciplinary Board found Rahn the Loser guilty of engaging in multiple instances of representing clients with distinct and obvious conflicts of interest.

In one matter, Rahn represented a lender attempting to collect on various loans while at the same time representing the person that was the borrower in question.
representing the sellers in a real estate transaction and while he was in possession of a deed in lieu of foreclosure signed and notarized by the buyer covering 4 parcels of land. Rahn took the signature page from the deed, attached it to a deed covering three of the parcels and recorded it, without the buyer’s consent or knowledge. Put simply, was representing the sellers and buyers of the same real estate at the same time.

And this wasn’t Rahn’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. In 1997, Rahn the Loser had his license suspended for 90-days for engaging in egregious misconduct.

As a consequence of his repeat performance, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Surpeme Court punished Rahn by gifting him with a 150-day suspension of his law license. An unmitigated joke!

As we speak (ca. June 2011) Rahn the Loser continues to practice his brand of law with Hostetter Knapp LLP located at 203 East Main Street in Enterprise, Oregon.
