Attorney Allen Zavodnick of West New York, NJ; ethical gremlin

The state of New Jersey presented Allen M. Zavodnick with a law license in 1962.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Allan guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to prepare quarterly client ledger cards
  • Client ledger cards not fully descriptive
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Failed to register with IOLTA Fund
  • Failed to correct deficiencies regarding prior audit of trust accounts
  • Wrote check for $6,280.46 n insufficient fund bank account (rubber)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Allen by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Because Attorney Misfits in New Jersey are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Allen was never criminally charged with writing bad checks.

As we speak (ca. June 2017) Allen practices in West New York, New Jersey.
