The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Danny guilty of the following misconduct.

Danny’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to turn over client’s file to new counsel
• Failed to expedite client litigation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Danny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Danny’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Engaged in recordkeeping violations
• Failed to promptly deliver funds belonging to clients and third parties
• Failed to maintain descriptive trust account client ledger cards
• Failed to maintain running trust account checkbook balance
• Failed to perform quarterly reconciliations of attorney trust account
• Improperly used signature rubber stamp to sign trust account checks

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to inform prospective client of how and when he could communicate with Danny
• Failed to client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Lied to client he would send letter explaining dismissal of client’s case

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Danny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
