Judge Thomas Low of American Fork, UT; cheerleader for rapist

The state of Utah presented Thomas Low with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Brigham Young University (BYU) Law School.

Utah Gov. Gary Herbert was duped into appointing Tommy to a seat on the Fourth District Court in 2009. Tommy didn’t get the appointment because he was the most qualified lawyer in the greater Utah and Wasatch county areas. He got it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

In one matter, Judge Low presided over the case of convicted rapist Keith Vallejo, a former bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Vallejo was convicted of sexually abusing two women in separate incidents dating back to at least 2013.

The rapes involving a conviction of first-degree felony of object rape and 10 second-degree felonies of forcible sexual abuse

At his sentencing hearing, Judge Low set out to establish that he’s one of Utah’s Premier Misogynists and Enablers for Convicted Perverts when he made the following statement in open court.

  • “The court had no doubt that Mr. Vallejo is an extraordinarily good man.”
  • “But great men, sometimes do bad things.”

So here we have a sitting judge singing the praises of a serial pervert and convicted rapist. Just how low (pun intended) will Judge Low go in the future. Will he tell us that Hitler was “an extraordinarily good man” who did some “bad things,” such as murdering 6 million Jews.

As we speak (ca. May 2017), Judge Low continues to sit as a 4th District Court judge in American Fork, Utah.
