Attorney John Dutra of Georgetown, KY; ethical gremlin

The state of Kentucky presented John Elias Dutra with a law license in 2000.

The Kentucky Bar Association found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to deposit advance fee in client escrow account
• Abandoned his client
• Failed to return the client’s paperwork
• Failed to properly withdraw from a case upon termination of representation
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Johnny!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kentucky Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2017), Johnny practices at 113 North Hamilton Street in Georgetown, Kentucky.
