Judge Deborah Gross-Quatrone of Newark, NJ; serial scofflaw

The state of New Jersey provided Deborah Gross-Quatrone with a law license in 1990 after she graduated from Pace University Law School.

The New Jersey Supreme Court's Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct has charged Debbie with engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Ordered new law clerk to work off-the-clock for no pay
  • Secretly taped conversations with other judges and court officials
  • Repeatedly misused judicial resources
  • Directed her judicial secretary to perform personal tasks on her behalf
  • Ordered her judicial secretary to do her high school-age son’s homework
  • Demonstrated total disrespect for the judiciary
  • Failed to conform conduct to high standards of conduct expected of judges
  • Had court clerks check on her jewelry orders, rental car reservations, vacation itineraries, and inquire about Louis Vuitton bags and store credit cards
  • Ordered court clerks to send out bills to her former clients

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Debbie by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court.

As we speak (March 2017), Debbie continues to sit as a Essex County Family Division Superior Court Judge in Newark, New Jersey.
