Today’s “Hyperbole (BS)” Award Winner is Newt Gingrich
Newt gives a new meaning to the word Hyperbole (aka, Bullshit). In fact, he’s an embarrassment to all well-intentioned bull-shitters currently seeking the Republican Presidential nomination.
Newt wants you to believe that he’s just an average feller like y’all who toil everyday at exorbitant hourly rates of $8 to $14.
Recently the media reported that Newt’s wife (that’d be No. 3 on Newt’s revolving hit parade) had a revolving (pun intended), no-interest account at Tiffany’s that had a balance of between $250,000 and $500,000.
When recently questioned about the Tiffany account on Face the Nation, Newt said, “It’s a standard, no-interest account.” Hey folks, do y’all really believe that a “no-interest account” at Tiffany’s is “standard fare?”
If any of y’all believe that BS, you’ll likely believe that Gourmet Magazine really did contemplate hiring the late Jeffrey Dahmer as its editor-in-chief. Hear tell that Jeff’s rump roast recipe is out of this world!
Maybe I shouldn’t be so hard on Ol’ Newt about his Tiffany’s account. After all, a lot of those overpaid UAW autoworkers in the greater Detroit, Ann Arbor and Toledo area do almost all of their shopping at the Somerset Mall in Troy.
The biggest draws at the Somerset Mall for these spoiled autoworkers and/or their spouses are low-end retailers such as Neiman Marcus, Sax Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Barney’s and Louis Vuitton. As a matter of fact it’s my understanding that these blue collar workers all have revolving, no interest charge accounts at most of these stores.
I guess that puts to rest any attacks by those commie-pinko, left –wing America haters that relish attacking the bona fides of Newt, right? I mean if Tiffany's is good enough for a GM, Chrysler or Ford worker it damn sure is good enough for Ol' Newt or any of his paramours or mulitple wives, right Boyz and Girls?
Congrats Newt; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as a top flight dispenser of bullshit; you are far too humble.
